Osasuna completes Dubasin signing after paperwork clearance
Striker Jonathan Dubasin is set to become Osasuna's newest signing after finalizing administrative procedures. The Navarrese club, which finished the 2025 season in 17th place with 42 points (11W-9D-18L), aims to strengthen its attack to avoid another relegation battle.
What happened with the transfer?
Sporting Gijón and Osasuna agreed on a €4 million fixed fee, plus 50% of any future profit and up to €1 million in add-ons. Dubasin, 26, returned to Gijón after the preseason camp in Vigo, but his future was already sealed. Osasuna wants him to join their England training camp, where they will face Ipswich Town (July 29) and Norwich City (August 1) in friendlies.

The team, which conceded 50 goals last season, needs attacking reinforcements. Dubasin, with Segunda División experience, could provide stability up front.
