Pablo Garcia, former Osasuna player, is the new coach of Noah FC, Armenian Cup champion. The 49-year-old Uruguayan coach has been appointed to lead the Armenian team after ending his stint at APOEL in Cyprus.
A new era in Armenia
Noah FC, current Armenian Cup champion, has started the new season with ambition and has hired Garcia to lead one of the most ambitious projects in the country's football. Garcia takes over from Sandro Perković, whose departure from the Armenian team was announced on August 19.
Coaching career
Garcia has extensive experience on the benches, especially in Greek football. His coaching career began in the PAOK structure, where he worked with the lower categories before reaching the first team. With the PAOK sub-19 team, he won three consecutive Greek championships, while at the helm of the first team, he won the 2020/21 Greek Cup.
The memory of Osasuna
Pablo Garcia also has a special bond with Osasuna, the club where he left a significant mark during his time as a player. The Uruguayan midfielder played for the Navarran team between 2002 and 2005, before making the leap to Real Madrid after his good performances in Pamplona. In his time as a rojillo, he played around 80 official matches, becoming one of the most recognized players of that generation. Osasuna is currently in 9th place in the La Liga table, with 39 points, 10 wins, 9 draws and 12 losses in 31 games, and a goal difference of -1, with 37 goals scored and 38 conceded, 40 points behind leader Barcelona, and their next match will be against Sevilla on February 28, 2027.
