Luis Miguel Ramis, the new coach of Osasuna, has spoken with Sky Sports about his experience at Real Madrid and his vision for the team in the 2026-2027 season. Ramis, who played and trained in Real Madrid's academy, has arrived at Osasuna after a decade in the academy and 10 years in Spain's lower leagues.
"This opportunity has come my way", said Ramis to Sky Sports. "I am prepared and excited for the challenge".
Despite Osasuna being a model team in Spain, consistently surpassing their weight in the league, the club from Pamplona was close to falling in the last season, finishing in the 17th place.
"I want a team with a collective spirit, organized and balanced", explained Ramis. "We need to have a strong defensive structure and a collective mentality".
Ramis also spoke about the importance of the physical condition of the players, citing the "heavy physical workload" he is imposing on the players in the pre-season.

Osasuna finished the last season in the 9th place of the LaLiga table, with 39 points and a record of 10 wins, 9 draws and 12 losses in 31 games. The team has a 40-point deficit with respect to the league leaders, Barcelona.
The next game of Osasuna is on February 28, 2027, against Sevilla at home.
Currently, the player Raúl Moro is injured and cannot play.
