The summer transfer window for Osasuna has come to an end with a bang. In the same day, the Navarre-based team has made official the arrival of left-back Diego Rico and, just moments ago, has surprised with the signing of Ghanaian defender Rockson Yeboah from I.F.K Göteborg. Following the warning from their sports director Braulio Vázquez about three or four possible incorporations, Osasuna has strengthened its defense in an operation with the Swedish team that amounts to 3 million euros. Similarly, the Nordic team reserves a 30% stake in the potential future sale of the quick 22-year-old central defender. Yeboah signs with the red team for the next five seasons and will have a release clause that amounts to 30.000.000€. The 1.90m tall defender has played 20 matches between the Swedish league and the copa competition in the recent season and, in addition, has participated in three Conference League phase matches. The signing arrives as a 'tapas' after evading possible rumors and will arrive in Pamplona in the next hours to put himself under the orders of Luis Miguel Ramis. With this incorporation, Osasuna seeks to improve its position in the La Liga classification, where it currently stands in 9th place with 39 points, 10 wins, 9 draws and 12 losses in 31 games. In the current season, the team has scored 37 goals and has received 38, placing it 40 points behind the tournament leaders, Barcelona. Its next match will be against Sevilla at home on February 28, 2027.
