Osasuna will be without Romain Del Castillo for their trip to face Real Betis. The midfielder has sustained a mild left adductor injury, the club confirmed following medical tests at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra on Thursday.

The discomfort arose during Wednesday's training session. Del Castillo, who joined from Brest on the final day of the summer transfer window, has already begun his recovery. The Frenchman, with just 35 official minutes across two substitute appearances, will miss Sunday's eighth league matchday fixture. His next game will be on Sunday, October 27 at 18:30 at La Cartuja.

Pamplona's side face Betis at La Cartuja on Sunday at 18:30. The Verdiblancos sit third with 16 points, while Osasuna are thirteenth with 8. The last meeting between the two, in April, ended in a 1-1 draw.

The absentee list for the match is growing. Raúl Moro, Jorge Herrando and Asier Bonel continue their recovery from muscle injuries. Kike Barja, who has not participated in recent sessions, is a doubt. On a positive note, Luis Miguel Ramis has players returning. Aimar Oroz, Moi Gómez and Valentín Rosier have been training with the group for several days. Ante Budimir and Rockson Yeboah returned on Thursday after international duty, and Raúl García de Haro is back to normal training after overcoming a cold.

Osasuna enter the match following an international break in which they had gone four games without a win, taking just one point from the last twelve available. Croatian striker Ante Budimir, the team's top scorer with five goals, will be a key figure in attack. The Rojillos will look to improve their away form, having recorded one win and one loss in their last two trips. The full squad is available to view on the official team page.
