Osasuna will play their LaLiga EA Sports matchday 11 fixture against Deportivo La Coruña on Monday, November 2nd at 21:00 at the Riazor stadium. The fixture, made official by the league's governing body, will be Osasuna's first Monday night slot of the campaign.

Deportivo had previously avoided Monday fixtures, a time slot they had not occupied since their first two top-flight matches against Elche and Málaga. The Galician side will face Real Sociedad at Anoeta on Sunday, October 11th and host Levante at Riazor on Friday, October 16th before welcoming Osasuna.

For Osasuna, who sit 13th in the table with 8 points from seven games, this match represents another away challenge. Jagoba Arrasate's team arrives with mixed recent form, recording one win, one draw and three defeats in their last five outings, and their next fixture is a trip to third-placed Real Betis on October 11th.

Arrasate's debut

The game at Riazor will hold special significance for Osasuna head coach Jagoba Arrasate, as it marks his official debut as a manager in the top flight. Arrasate, who previously worked in the second division, was a Deportivo player between 1997 and 2000, a period in which he won a league title and a Spanish Super Cup.

The Navarre side's objective will be to take three points to move further away from the lower reaches of the standings, where they currently have a record of 6 goals scored and 13 conceded. Striker Ante Budimir, the team's top scorer this season with 5 goals, will be a key asset. The full squad and their statistics are available in the squad section.

The match is therefore set for Monday, November 2nd at 21:00 hours. This time slot concludes the eleventh matchday, in which Deportivo will play their second consecutive home game. Osasuna thus faces a key stretch of their calendar, aiming to improve their 13th-place position before the international break.
