Valentin Rosier has taken a key step in his recovery by completing his first full training session with the Osasuna first-team squad. The French right-back, who had been sidelined with a pre-season injury, is now working at full capacity alongside his teammates.

Club communications officer María Fuentes confirmed the progress. "Valentin Rosier has taken an important step in his recovery and was able to complete a full training session with the rest of his teammates for the first time," she said.

Rosier's return is a relief for manager Luis Miguel Ramis, who faces a tough trip to the Benito Villamarín to face third-placed Real Betis on October 11. Osasuna, sitting 13th with 8 points in the standings, is looking to stabilize after an inconsistent start to the La Liga season. The team needs to shore up a defense that has conceded 13 goals in seven matches, and the team's recent form, with just one win in the last five games, makes every point key.

During the Frenchman's absence, academy product Íñigo Arguibide has taken over the right-back spot with notable reliability, accumulating more minutes than any other first-team player this campaign, with 630 minutes played according to the stats. The Navarrese club's sporting direction had explored the market for a reinforcement in that position but ultimately did not complete any signing.

Rosier will still need several more sessions to reach competitive rhythm, so the final decision on his inclusion for the clash against Betis will be up to Ramis in the coming days. Meanwhile, other players like Jorge Herrando and Raúl Moro continue their individual recovery processes. Defender Asier Bonel, however, was unable to train on Wednesday after suffering a muscle issue over the weekend.

The Frenchman's return provides another option for Ramis ahead of a key period in the schedule. The last meeting between the two sides, in April, ended in a 1-1 draw at El Sadar.
